Terms & Conditions

Using Skylab

Skylab is operated by Arput Agrawal as a sole proprietor under the trading name Skylab. These terms form an agreement between you and Arput Agrawal, trading as Skylab.

These terms cover Skylab at skylab.website and its learning, account, and practice features. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it. You must be able to enter this agreement under the laws that apply to you, or have any parent or guardian permission those laws require.

For questions, contact us at founders@skylab.website. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Your account and progress

You can explore and learn as a guest, or sign in using Google or an email verification code to save progress to an account. Use an account you control, keep your sign-in codes private, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. Never share your Google password with Skylab.

Guest progress depends on browser storage. Clearing that storage can remove it. Account progress is associated with your verified account. Signing out ends the current Skylab session; it does not delete your account. To request account and saved-data deletion, email founders@skylab.website from your account email address.

Acceptable use

Use Skylab lawfully and respectfully. Do not access another person’s account, attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, send malicious code, abuse automated requests, or submit content that violates another person’s rights. Do not include passwords, verification codes, or sensitive personal information in practice conversations.

Learning content and AI features

Skylab provides learning materials and practice feedback for educational use. Some materials and replies are generated using AI and may contain errors or incomplete information. Evaluate responses and check relevant sources before relying on them. Course completion and practice feedback are learning aids; they do not guarantee a qualification, employment, or any particular result.

Our materials, branding, and software belong to Skylab or their respective owners. You may access the materials for personal learning. These terms do not give permission to resell the service or redistribute protected materials without authorization or a right provided by law.

Your submissions and third-party services

You keep any rights you have in messages and other content you submit. You give Skylab permission to process that content as necessary to provide the service, including generating practice replies and saving your learning history. You are responsible for having permission to submit it.

Google sign-in, email delivery, hosting, speech transcription, and AI responses depend on third-party services. Their applicable terms and policies also govern your use of those services. Skylab does not control their availability.

Availability, changes, and account restrictions

We may update learning materials, change features, or temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance or security. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats, or legal requirements. You can stop using Skylab at any time.

The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free content, or the preservation of browser-only data. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.

Updates and questions

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version, and we will provide notice of material changes where required. For questions or concerns, email founders@skylab.website.
